Purchased at an Auckland Starship Hospital auction, this Helifishing trip to Cape Brett saw Geoff Henderson and three of his mates on board with TV3 star of the ITM Fishing Show, Matt Watson. Matt and his crew were filming footage for their show and you can check out the Heliops Choppa on TV later this season.

“Ian, Gary and their team of bird catchers from Puketi Forest Trust captured 18 Robins (Toutouwai) from Rangitoto Station outside of Te Kuiti on Sunday the 14th of June. These small birds were captured, weighed , banded and placed in individual transport boxes before being flown back up to the Bay of Islands for release in the Puketi Forest. We hope that the birds flourish in their new home and once again Heliops are happy to have been of assistance to the Trust.”
